Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
At Taylance Tech, we respect your privacy and handle your data responsibly. This policy explains what we collect at https://taylancetech.com, how we use it, and the controls available to you.
1. Information We Collect
We collect data in two ways:
- Information you provide: name, email, optional phone/company, project details, and other data shared through contact or inquiry forms.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device details, and request logs used for security, performance, and abuse prevention.
2. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate project fit.
- Deliver requested services and communication updates.
- Maintain site reliability, security, and monitoring.
- Improve content quality, UX, and operational processes.
- Comply with legal obligations where required.
3. Data Sharing & Processors
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the website and deliver client work, and only to the extent needed for those functions. Current processors include:
- Vercel — website hosting, deployment, and privacy-friendly analytics on the public site.
- Supabase — database, authentication, and form submission storage where enabled.
- Google — Analytics (GA4) and, where consented, advertising products such as AdSense.
- Google advertising partners— when you consent to advertising cookies, Google AdSense and IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) partner vendors may process device identifiers and browsing data for ad delivery and measurement.
Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We choose vendors with reasonable security practices and limit what we send to what the service requires.
4. Data Retention
Inquiry and project communication data is retained for as long as necessary to provide support, continue business communication, or meet legal and operational requirements. Data that is no longer required is deleted or minimized where practical.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect stored and transmitted data, including access controls and secure infrastructure practices. No system is perfect, but we actively work to reduce risk.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for core site behavior. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Analytics on the public site to understand traffic patterns, and advertising cookies when ads are enabled (see section 7). A consent banner is shown on first visit so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice later via “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. See our Cookie Policy for details.
7. Advertising and Google AdSense
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense and related Google advertising partners. When advertising is enabled:
- Google and ad-technology partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure their effectiveness, and — where you consent — personalize ads based on your visit to this site and prior visits to this or other sites.
- Non-essential advertising cookies are not set until you accept them through our consent banner (and, for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, through Google's certified Consent Management Platform / Privacy & messaging where configured).
- You can manage personalized ads via Google Ads Settings, opt out of interest-based ads through aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU), or use “Cookie preferences” / Necessary Only on this site.
- Google's use of information is further described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
8. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent: where you have given clear permission, such as submitting a contact form or enabling analytics and advertising cookies.
- Contract: where processing is necessary to discuss, prepare, or deliver a service you requested.
- Legitimate interests:to keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage — balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose data to comply with the law.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”),
- request a portable copy of your data,
- object to or restrict certain processing,
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@taylancetech.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you additional rights:
- the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used,
- the right to request deletion of your personal information,
- the right to correct inaccurate personal information,
- the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information,
- the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. To make a request, email hello@taylancetech.com.
11. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain and remediate the issue, and notify affected individuals and the relevant authorities where required by applicable law, within the legally mandated timeframes.
13. International Access
This website can be accessed globally, and data may be processed using services hosted in different regions. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards suitable for professional software operations.
14. Policy Updates
We update this policy when legal, technical, or operational changes require it. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision, and the latest version is always published on this page.
