Editorial Standards

How we write, review, and maintain the guides and articles on https://taylancetech.com

The guides, articles, and case studies on this site are produced by the Taylance Tech team. This page documents the standards we hold that content to — the same page we hold ourselves to when a reader asks why they should trust something we published.

Written by the people who did the work

Every guide and article carries a named byline — a Taylance Tech engineer or designer who worked on production systems related to the topic. We do not publish under generic bylines. Each author is listed on our About page with their role, portfolio, and professional profiles.

Firsthand experience over secondhand summaries

Our content is drawn from projects we have shipped: multi-tenant SaaS platforms, point-of-sale systems, compliance tooling, and client delivery work. When we describe a failure mode or a tuning result, it is because we hit it or fixed it — not because another article mentioned it.

Sources and numbers you can check

When an article cites data — benchmarks, research, or vendor announcements — we link to the original source and include the date of the finding. Where numbers vary between studies, we say so instead of quoting whichever figure is most dramatic.

Corrections and updates in the open

Software changes fast. When a post's guidance becomes outdated, we update the article and revise its last-updated date rather than silently leaving stale advice online. Material corrections are applied to the body of the article itself.

Independence from advertising

If this site displays advertising, ads are served by ad networks and are not selected or written by our team. Our articles, guides, and product recommendations are decided by engineers on editorial merit. Sponsored content, if ever published, will be clearly labelled as such.

Scheduled content reviews

We periodically review published guides and articles against the current state of the frameworks, standards, and regulations they cover — Next.js releases, WCAG updates, GDPR guidance — and retire content that no longer meets the bar instead of letting it accumulate.

Found a problem with an article?

If you spot a factual error, an outdated recommendation, or an accessibility issue in any of our content, email hello@taylancetech.com with the article URL and what you found. A named engineer — not a bot — reads and responds to every report.
